Key Responsibilities / Job Description - Attend design reviews and provide product evaluations to ensure designs support practical and cost‑effective manufacturing methods.
- Support the review of engineering drawings prior to Production Release to verify manufacturability and alignment with state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing techniques.
- Assist in make‑or‑buy analyses and provide recommendations regarding in‑house versus external manufacturing capabilities.
- Participate in vendor surveys and support supplier performance evaluations.
- Evaluate and define requirements for assembly tooling, fixtures, and equipment needed to support manufacturing operations.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and contribute to the disposition of nonconforming materials and assemblies.
