Role Overview

Premium Auditor – Permanent full‑time – Edmonton, Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Review records and data to ensure employers report correct assessable earnings and pay appropriate premiums.
• Review employer operations to ensure proper classification for rate‑setting purposes.
• Ensure appropriate experience is used to set the employer premium rate.
• Verify worker status and earnings to ensure proper worker claims charging.
• Communicate findings, root causes, and corrective action plans to employers.
• Investigate allegations of unregistered employers, unauthorized premium deductions, etc.
• Educate employers to improve disability management programs via consultations.
• Educate employers and other relevant parties on WCB legislation and pricing programs.
• Perform additional duties as required.
