Position Overview

At the Norwegian College of Fishery Science, Faculty of Biosciences, Fisheries and Economics (BFE) at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, there is a vacant position as a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the Microalgae & Microbiomes Research Group. The position is for a fixed term of 3 years and requires the applicant to carry out the project over the full course of the employment period. A fixed term Postdoctoral Research Fellow may not hold more than one such position at the same institution.

The postdoctoral project focuses on programmable marine microbiomes and mechanistic interactions within the diatom phycosphere, with particular emphasis on synthetic biology, microbial ecology, and molecular interactions between marine microalgae and associated bacteria.
