About the position

We offer an exciting 3-year postdoctoral position that gives you the opportunity to develop a strong research profile and gain valuable teaching experience. Mandatory department duties related to teaching are part of the appointment. The position aims to strengthen the group’s research and teaching activities within process‑system technology.

Duties of the position

• Conduct research in optimization, with a focus on one or more of the following areas:
  • Process Systems Engineering
  • Non‑smooth systems
  • Artificial intelligence for process systems Engineering
  • Biosystems
• Teach and supervise students at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level in Norwegian and/or English, as required by the department.
• Participate and contribute to the development of the research group and its global position within process‑system technology.
• Write academic publications.
