About the Role

The Societal Safety unit ensures our monetization practices do not contribute to societal harm. We identify emerging risks, from election integrity and misinformation to AI-generated content and minor safety, to ensure ads do not undermine societal stability or individual safety.

As a Policy Manager, you will assess risk and develop clear, MECE (Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive) policies in TikTok’s most complex regulatory environments. You will balance revenue opportunities with platform integrity, ensuring our rules are enforceable by both human moderators and LLMs.
