**Responsibilities and tasks**:
- Establish technical requisitions and specifications for procurement of valves and piping components
- Handle technical queries and maintain specifications for piping, valves, and special items
- Follow up on deliveries, documentation, and suppliers, including vendor visits and FATs as required
- Perform other relevant tasks based on project requirements
**Qualifications and personal attributes**:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in materials or mechanical science
- Experience with and knowledge of piping valves and relevant standards/specifications used in the North Sea
- Good understanding of ASME B31.3 and experience with EN 13480, Pressure Equipment Directive, and knowledge of EN 13445
- General knowledge of computer technology and good communication skills
