Location: Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Orlando, FL Department: PICU Type: Variable Full-time (3/12-hours shift) Shift: Night Shift (7PM -7AM) THE PEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE UNIT PICU has 17 private inpatient beds including 2 negative airflow isolation rooms and 4 dedicated Trauma rooms. Highly skilled, comprehensive nursing care and the availability of life saving techniques are provided on a 24 hour, 7 days a week basis. Care is provided to critically ill patients with the need for establishment of an adequate airway, cardiovascular integrity, adequate fluid and electrolyte balance, and hemodynamic stability wide variety of services are available, including ECMO, renal replacement therapy, HVOV, Nitric Oxide, and post-op recovery.
