• Established cardiac surgery team with full support
• Manageable call structure: 1:5 ratio
Assignment Details
• Dates: June 15 - December 31, 2026
• Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call
• Call: In-house, 1:5 ratio
• Daily load: 10 patients seen, 3 admissions, 10 phone consults
• Volume: 10 patients/shift
• Setting: Inpatient cardiac surgery
• Support: 2 RNs, 1 MA, 1 APP
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: 90 days
Clinical Details
• First-assist in CABG, open heart, valve repair/replacement
• Required skills: EVH/vein harvesting (demonstrated independent ability), SFA (surgical first assist) experience, sternotomy closure
