Are you a passionate and experienced Pharmacy Technician ready to make an impact in healthcare? Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking a dedicated professional to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you’ll work to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care through all aspects of drug distribution.Reporting to the Manager, Medication Quality, Safety and Policy, this position's key responsibilities include advising pharmacy staff on safety strategies related to order entry, selecting and labeling medications, repackaging equipment, compounding, performing final product checks, and hazardous medication handling. You will participate and/or lead provincial committees and projects to achieve these goals and to support quality, safe patient care. Additionally, collaborate with Medication Safety Pharmacists, Medication Safety Nurse, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient safety.
