AHS is seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Chinook Regional Hospital. You will work to full scope of practice and support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in all areas of medication distribution.Responsibilities include coordinating and performing sterile & non-sterile compounding, final checks of medications, inventory, and procurement activities. You will check and dispense patient-specific medication orders prepared by Pharmacy Assistants and other Technicians, prepare and check repackaged medications, and complete Patient BPMHs in a clinical setting. The role also involves mentoring Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians, training new staff, and precepting students while collaborating closely with pharmacists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
