Duties

: The following essential duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive:

All aspects of Pharmacy Technician tasks as defined in the NAPRA Standards Practice for Pharmacy Technician practice from the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

Understand and operate Meditech and Kroll Pharmacy software, Omnicell XT, OCRA, PacMed, and all systems supporting the dispensing and distribution function.

Participate in the distribution process and Pharmacy support responsibilities.

Participate in Medication Reconciliation Activities.

Packaging and delivery of pharmaceutical products to patient care units or other facilities as needed; may require lifting boxes of varying weights ranging from 1 – 20 lbs.

Packaging, preparation and ensuring shipment of products as required.
