Responsibilities

• Perform nursing skills such as point‑of‑care testing, specimen acquisition—including venipuncture—and arranging referral when necessary.
• Assist with child development checks, newborn home visits, pregnancy tests and contraception, including administration of injectable contraception.
• Provide outreach to Harmony House, delivering care within the scope of practice and connecting perinatal clients to other health‑care providers as needed.
• Assist with patient check‑ins and encourage patients to access care to increase access and reduce barriers to health care.
• Assess, plan, implement, document and evaluate care needs and goals for individual patients, clients and their caregivers/families.
