Northern Health is seeking a Pediatrician for Dawson Creek, BC. This role offers the opportunity to build a new pediatric service with abundant consultations. In addition to clinic work, you will provide support to the maternity unit as needed and advise ER physicians on patient management.

Dawson Creek has no designated inpatient pediatric beds or a neonatal intensive care unit. Regional pediatric in‑patient services are provided in Prince George, BC.

The community has a high birth rate (400 per year) and supportive locum Pediatricians in nearby Fort St. John (45 minutes away). Child and youth mental health services, a Child Development Centre and an Integrated Child & Youth Team are available locally.
