Process weekly payroll for unionized employees and bi-weekly payroll for non-unionized employees and managers. Manage employee benefits, including group insurance and retirement plans. Validate data in payroll systems and make necessary adjustments. Ensure accurate payments and compliance with deadlines. Prepare and review payroll reports. Respond to government agency inquiries. Prepare year-end tax documents. Update personal information and databases. Ensure compliance with provincial standards, collective agreements, and internal policies. Respond to questions from managers and employees regarding payroll and benefits. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient payroll processes. Perform any other related tasks as needed.
