Job Duties for Painter Position:

Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, removing old coatings, patching, and caulking

Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and coverings

Apply primers, paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment

Mix and match paint colors to meet specifications

Clean, maintain, and store tools, equipment, ladders, and scaffolding

Follow OSHA and company safety protocols including PPE and proper ventilation

Assess job sites, measure surfaces, and estimate materials and labor time
