Location: Winnipeg, Concordia Hospital

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Health Services, the Registered Nurse provides professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. Responsibilities include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, leading within the health care team, and coordinating patient care and discharge. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a commitment to the vision, values, goals and objectives of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and Concordia.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years recent PACU, critical care, acute surgical or resuscitation level emergency nursing experience required.
• Satisfactory employment record required.

Education

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
