Overview
Outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling heavy equipment parts and service, as well as providing after sales support to new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction
- Assist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance
- Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programs
- Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potential
- Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per month
- Keep customers current on new products and services
- Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month
