Overview

Our client is a manufacturing company who have been established for over 80 years. They have a rare opportunity for a forward‑thinking Operations Manager to support the Managing Director with the day to day running of the company and can drive the business forward in a busy, fast paced engineering/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Managing Director with the day to day running of the company including management of staff (holidays, lateness and disciplinary etc.)
• Be responsible for all pre‑production processes
• Deal with customer enquiries, produce quotes from customer specifications through to launching jobs and ordering materials
• Work from engineering drawings to advise clients on product application
