Under the general direction of the Plant Manager or equivalent, the Operations Manager provides strategic leadership for a function within a high-performance plant/facility. The role has overall accountability for the performance of the function and the impact on the larger operating unit, leading team managers and/or staff to achieve exceptional business results through people development and continuous improvement of manufacturing and supply chain processes.

The Operations Manager participates as an active member of the facility leadership team, ensuring that strategies across functions are aligned to create common objectives for all departments and achieve plant/facility goals. Responsibilities include managing and developing direct reports and participating in the resolution of cross-functional issues that impact multiple areas.
