About the role

As the Occupational Health Nurse, you will serve as the plant’s medical professional under the general direction of a local Occupational Provider. In this role you will report to the Human Resources Manager and work closely with plant management to take a proactive approach toward providing a safe work environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Administers first aid emergency medical treatment in cases of accidents or illnesses and contacts a physician or hospital for further treatment when needed.
• Administers Workers’ Compensation claims and directly manages the Company’s return-to-work program.
• Develops, implements and manages Occupational Health Programs such as hearing conservation programs and administers hearing tests as needed.
