Epsom Girls Grammar School is a school that strives for excellence: in performance, in the connections between people and in its pastoral supports. A large, secondary school for girls, they are located centrally in Auckland with a current role of 2,300 students. Their expert staff teach towards the national qualification NCEA, and starting this year also offer Cambridge International qualifications in some subject areas with this expected to grow over time.

Headed by a Learning Area Director, the English faculty has twenty-eight full and part time staff. Heads of Department lead a staff of innovative educators with a passion for English. Students work towards qualifications in NCEA at Levels 1-3 and Cambridge IGCSEs with AS level being introduced in 2027.
