The Nordic Head of Technical Underwriting will set the direction for underwriting governance, manage the underwriting framework, and provide technical assurance across our Nordic operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the The Zurich Way of underwriting, promoting consistency of underwriting
• Support the development and implementation of underwriting strategy
• Maintain underwriting policy and guideline control framework and best practices
• Oversee the internal control framework for underwriting, conduct regular risk assessment, maintain and implement assurance framework, and ensure compliance with Group risk mitigation actions
• Provide training and onboarding on governance and compliance, fostering underwriting excellence
• Continuously refine business processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness
