Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Administer firewalls: implement policies, perform daily housekeeping, conduct regular rules review and clean-up, and provide support during incidents.
• Use firewall tools such as Firewall Analyzer (AlgoSec or FireMon): optimize tool usage, configure regular reports for daily clean-up and rules usage.
• Manage workload efficiently and escalate when needed to keep it at a reasonable level.
• Propose architecture or tooling improvements based on issues and events identified in daily operations.
• Participate in first-level on-call duty.
• Support IT production teams on security best practices.
• Assess infrastructure and applications to ensure that the security model and principles are applied at application level, network level, and between inter and intra DMZs.
• Contribute to internal IT projects within the team.
