CBCL Limited is hiring a Municipal Engineer / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) for the Municipal Department in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and planning of civil infrastructure projects, including water distribution, wastewater collection and pumping, sanitary sewer systems, and stormwater management facilities.

Assist in developing detailed design drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Work alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to refine design concepts, perform engineering calculations, and ensure project specifications meet client needs and regulatory standards.

Participate in site visits and fieldwork, collecting essential data for infrastructure investigations, observing construction activities, and supporting resident observation duties.

Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and tender documents.
