Under the supervision of the Municipal Law Enforcement Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local by-laws, such as zoning and noise regulations. A minimum of a post-secondary degree in criminal justice or related discipline is required, alongside three years of relevant municipal experience. This role also involves significant public interaction and collaboration with other agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct compliance investigations on properties and businesses
• Develop investigation reports and enter data into AMANDA
• Issue notices of violation and enforcement penalties
• Communicate with owners regarding by-law compliance
