*Schedule: Fulltime Nights (7pm-7am)
Primary Purpose:
Performs concurrent monitoring of patients on telemetry and event monitors to assist in the early identification of cardiac arrhythmias.
Minimum Specifications
Education:
- Must have completed a Medical Assistant course that includes EKG OR six months experience interpreting EKG rhythm strips.
Experience: Skills or Special Abilities: - Must demonstrate during interview the ability to interpret EKG rhythm strips.
- Must be able to demonstrate all telemetry related functions and complete the three-day EKG course or take the challenge test with a passing grade of at least 80% within the 90-day probationary period.
