Name: Middle School Science Teacher (Tentative)

Reports to: Middle School Principal

Time commitment: Full-time

Qualifications and Experience

Degree and teaching certification that covers Science grades 6-8, and preferably another

• A minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience
• Experience teaching through inquiry with a project‑based curriculum
• Experience teaching and assessing the Next Generation Science Standards
• Experience developing instructional units using the Understanding By Design framework
• Experience delivering social and emotional learning lessons
• Experience working in a multicultural school environment
• High proficiency in English
