The Curie Institute Research CenterThe “Institut Curie” is a major player in the research and fight against cancer. It consists of a hospital and a Research Center of more than 1000 employees with a strong international objective of the Curie Institute Research Center is to develop basic research and to use the knowledge produced to improve the diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutics of cancers as part of the continuum between basic research and innovation serving the patient.

Laboratory-Department

INSERM Unit U932 “Immunity and Cancer”, located at the Institut Curie, comprises 10 teams with a total staff of around 160, spread over two buildings (Hospital Curie and building Constant-Burg, rue Lhomond). The Unit's teams work to better understand immune responses, and to train the immune system to better fight pathogens and/or tumors. Research projects range from basic immunology to translational immunotherapy and clinical immunotherapy in cancer patients.
