Purpose of Role:
To provide process engineering support to Hudbay’s corporate Technical Services team
Role Accountabilities:
Conduct daily laboratory tests, including flotation and leaching experiments, by setting specific test conditions and following established SOPs to ensure high-quality data generation.
Assist Senior Metallurgists on project studies by compiling technical data, updating process flowsheets, and performing basic mass balance calculations
Perform hands-on data collection during visits to Hudbay operations, focusing on plant measurements, instrument readings, and physical observations during commissioning or ramp-up
Draft primary technical reports and presentation slides summarizing test results for review by the Manager before they are shared with site-level operations management.
