Cytology Laboratory Technologist I – Central Zone – Anatomical Pathology – Permanent Full‑time.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Manager of Laboratory Services, the Technologist IV performs administrative and supervisory duties within the Cytology division. They perform advanced/highly specialized tests and procedures relating to cytology, prepare and supervise laboratory personnel, monitor and troubleshoot equipment, write policies and technical procedures, and serve on relevant committees. The Technologist IV also promotes and supports person-and family-centered care, demonstrates a commitment to safety, partners with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements.
