SGL is hiring a Mechanical and Composites expert at the company's headquarters in Ottawa for a six-month period with possible extension and/or permanent employment. The Mechanical Manufacturing and Composite Material Specialist will use their advanced experience and excellent communication skills to oversee and train other technicians in composite work.
Responsibilities
Provide training to assigned technicians/fabricators in the field of composite structures fabrication; Provide feedback on conceptual designs; Devise, implement, and oversee tests required to demonstrate compliance with design standards and generation/feedback of applicable drawings and reports; Manage Work Orders for any parts requiring certification compliance within the Aircraft Maintenance department; Direct, organize, and monitor the work of technicians/fabricators in addition to setting priorities on the work assigned; P...
