Job Description:

De Beers Group is seeking a proactive and organized Mechanical Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to support the Process Plant Mechanical Maintenance team at the Gahcho Kué Mine. This role is critical in coordinating resources, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring the efficient execution of mechanical maintenance activities. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage bi-weekly mechanical maintenance schedules using Prometheus Scheduler.
  • Coordinate resource availability and optimize crew assignments using Prometheus Capacity Planner.
  • Review and prioritize work orders daily to manage backlog and upcoming tasks.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and other departments to align maintenance activities with production needs.
