ColorCote, a division of Fletcher Building, has been leading New Zealand’s innovation of pre-painted steel and aluminium roofing and cladding products in NZ since . We are on the look out for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team based in Penrose, Auckland. Working Monday through to Friday with on call duties 24/7 on a weekly rotating roster. This is for an afternoon shift 2pm-10:30pm (40hrs per week).The mechanical fitter is responsible for maintaining, and repairing plant and equipment in response to breakdowns and the Preventative Maintenance scheduleFor this role you must have:

A working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems with an ability to read schematic drawings

Ability to conduct light fabrication work 

Experienced in use of lathes, milling machine, drill presses
