Overview

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-un university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Outdoors. Confined spaces. Work setting: Various locations. Residential.

Responsibilities

• Install machinery.
• Repair and maintain machinery.
• Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.
• Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications.
• Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials.
• Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications.
• Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants.
• Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects.
• Test machines and equipment.
