Elevate community engagement as the Manager of Government Relations at the University of Guelph. Drive advocacy strategies and maintain key stakeholder relations while impacting policy and funding opportunities.
In this strategic role, you will support U of G’s interests with government and community partners. Reporting to the Director, you will develop advocacy plans, monitor public policy trends, and facilitate government participation in university initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in synthesizing vital information and communicating it to internal partners effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement advocacy plans for U of G
• Monitor public policy to identify trends and opportunities
• Manage events and visits for government representatives
• Create materials for internal and external communication
• Coordinate lobbyist registration and reporting processes
