Arena Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Manager to oversee daily operations of the Northumberland Arena for the season. The ideal candidate will lead a team dedicated to ensuring a successful arena season, must have excellent time management skills, maintain high standards of customer satisfaction, and work towards a fully booked ice rental season. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for community, and a commitment to ensuring the ice‑rental season is successful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the arena
• Manage ice rentals – booking and rescheduling
• Lead, motivate, and train staff
• Manage guest relations by addressing & resolving complaints to ensure a positive experience for all visitors
• Apply computer & social media skills
• Oversee cash handling procedures, including processing transactions accurately and maintaining daily ledgers
