The Department of Family Medicine (DFM) is a collaborative partnership between Primary Care Alberta (PCA), Alberta Health Services (AHS), and the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine (CSM). The department encompasses Physician Services, Academic Family Medicine—including education, clinical services, and research programs—and six clinical sections that oversee the delivery of family medicine‑related services across Calgary. While DFM operates as a single, integrated department, this position is specific to the Academic Family Medicine program.
