Locum Consultant in Medical Microbiology

Applications are invited for a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months, full-time (10 PAs). A working week of 9.25 PAs could be considered if an applicant is looking to work less than full time, based on current service requirements. The role incorporates laboratory duties, results authorisation and interpretation, clinical and antibiotic advice, patient consults, ward rounds, and multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs).

A dedicated part of this post will provide Infection Control Doctor provision within NUH, shared with other Consultant colleagues. The candidate will also lead a Specialty MDT. This post supports a high quality infection management service across the Trust's campuses.
