Shape corporate finance legislation with the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) as a Legal Counsel. You will collaborate with seasoned professionals to develop legal guidelines and provide essential advice on securities legislation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement local and national regulations
• Review securities applications for exemptive relief
• Provide legal analysis of proxy and disclosure documents
• Conduct significant legal and policy research
• Collaborate with BCSC staff on legal matters
• Utilize your legal expertise to support BC's investment community as part of the BCSC team

Qualifications

• Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.)
• Eligible for or a member of the BC Law Society
• Relevant experience with securities regulations
