Position Details
Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the learning profiles of exceptional students, and consult with faculty and parents to determine the need for a psychoeducational assessment Interpret psychoeducational reports from external professionals and create a student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Support faculty to develop classroom strategies to promote best practices in teaching and learning (instruction, assessments and environment) to meet the needs of all students Ensure the accommodations outlined in the IEP are being met Review and edit report cards of students on IEPs to ensure there is alignment between the two documents Provide small group and individual support for students on IEPs, students of concern and students recovering from illnesses and injuries requiring accommodations and learning plans Develop relationships with parents and provide regular communication regarding student per...
