Learning Centre Support Assistant, Practical Nursing/Health Care Assistant

Location: Port Alberni (PA) – Position Status: Temporary (Start: 08/31/2026 – End: 06/25/2027).

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Senior Administrative Specialist, the Practical Nursing (PN) and Health Care Assistant (HCA) program Department Chairs, and the PN Learning Centre Coordinator, the Learning Centre Support Assistant provides operational and equipment support to the PN Learning Centre Coordinator, PN and HCA faculty, and students. Key responsibilities include maintaining the Health Lab equipment and inventory; monitoring borrowing of equipment and supplies; assisting with set‑up and clean‑up of equipment for weekly Health Lab activities; and providing clerical support for ordering and receiving supplies and equipment.
