Role Summary / Purpose

We are looking for a Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer focusing on valve technology to join our global FACTS (NPI) team. The position is based in Tampere, Finland. GE Vernova Grid Solutions Oy delivers high power (>100 MVAr) Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOM), Static Var Compensators (SVC), Fixed Series Capacitors (FSC) and Synchronous Condensers (SC). These devices control power system voltage and reactive power flow and improve power system stability and transmission efficiency. They also enable the integration of renewable energy sources, making future power systems more sustainable. The increased demand for renewable generation has expanded the markets for FACTS devices and the R&D needs for power system stability products.
