Lab and Diagnostic Advisor – Bogotá, Colombia

FHI 360 is recruiting a Lab and Diagnostic Advisor to support the STRIDES project. The Advisor will lead laboratory strengthening and diagnostics initiatives, ensuring alignment with Colombia's health priorities and donor requirements, and will supervise short‑term consultants.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in laboratory systems strengthening, diagnostics, and related public health areas aligned with national priorities.
• Engage with the Ministry of Health and other government entities to support laboratory activities and ensure alignment with national standards.
• Support development and implementation of laboratory policies, standards, and quality improvement processes at national and subnational levels.
• Maintain ongoing technical dialogue with in‑country counterparts, implementing partners, and stakeholders.
