POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Assistant supports the Head Chef and cooks in their duties. They participate in the preparation of cold dishes and desserts, cut and peel fruits and vegetables, plate dishes, prepare meal carts, and participate in the maintenance of equipment and the kitchen with the rest of the team.
Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble plates of food
• Clean kitchen equipment
• Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
• Peel and cut vegetables for meals
