- He/she will carry out part of the “Report of thirty (30) municipalities most susceptible to risks to disasters in the state of Rio de Janeiro, using existing secondary data, referring to the municipalities of Teresópolis, Nova Friburgo, Bom Jardim and São José do Vale do Rio Preto. This report will also draw up a non-exhaustive list of strategic initiatives aimed at promoting risk reduction and enhancing the adaptation and resilience of municipalities to extreme climate events. The Junior Technical Consultant will work in close collaboration with the Senior Technical Consultant, Technical Coordinator Consultant, the Rio Inclusive and Sustainable Programme Coordinator, and the operational, technical and communications teams of UN-Habitat Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. Also, he/she might work in collaboration with local project teams, Government officials, media and civil society.
