Implementation & Platform Engineer

My client, a well-established company based in Somerset West, is seeking an Implementation & Platform Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in applications, implementation, or IT support roles within the tech industry.

About the Role

The engineer will be responsible for software commissioning and support, monitoring mining processes, and ensuring high uptime of installed sensors. This role involves working with Linux, networking, scripting, cloud IoT, Docker, and configuration management tools such as Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in identifying, implementing, and testing optimal software solutions.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot software solutions.
• Calibrate and configure sensor software installed on site.
