Job Summary

The Jr. Purchasing Analyst is a member of Boyd’s Purchasing Team. The primary responsibility of this position is to evaluate procurement data, manage tariff resolutions, and provide logistical insight to optimize purchasing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain procurement and logistics data, including purchase orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogs, material rejection reports, tooling records, and inventory.
• Apply supply‑chain management principles, procurement regulations, and industry standards.
• Act as liaison between the organization and vendors; develop sourcing strategies, cost‑analysis standards, and quality metrics to sustain a competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, purchasing agents, and engineering on new and existing sales or issues that arise.
