Summary of Duties

Reports to the Manager, Transit Operations. The role is responsible for supervising the Transit Control and Route Supervision team to ensure successful daily service delivery and to take appropriate action to ensure the safety and security of transit staff, customers and assets in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, regulations and legislation.

Responsibilities

Supervise the Route Supervision team (Mobile, Transit Control) and oversee daily service delivery to ensure work is performed effectively and efficiently in accordance with transit standards, levels of service, system policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

Co‑ordinate the on‑route strategy and manage or direct inspectors’ actions in response to service breakdowns, change‑offs, detours, emergencies and collisions.
