Java Backend Developer (AWS) On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Java Backend Developer (AWS) for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. Responsibilities

Design and develop Java backend applications and microservices Build and integrate RESTful APIs and messaging systems like Kafka or MQ Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS (ECS, Lambda, ECR, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM) Implement logging, monitoring, performance optimization, and error handling Conduct code reviews and unit testing Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis Collaborate with stakeholders and support DevOps practices including CI/CD Mandatory Skills

8+ years Java backend development experience Robust proficiency in Java (core and Spring Boot) Reactive programming with Java Flux / Project Reactor RESTful API design and development Hands-on AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, ECR, RDS, DynamoDB, I...
