Key Accountabilities

• Institutional data analysis and reporting

  • Develop analytical models, reports and data visualizations (dashboards, graphs, presentations, web applications) to inform evidence‑based decision‑making.
  • Support indicator development and ongoing reporting for Waterloo operational and strategic measures.
  • Analyze trends and patterns in university performance over time using benchmarks and comparative data.
  • Prepare annual and customized reports and presentations for senior leadership, governance bodies, and monitoring of student enrolment, retention, graduation, and survey outcomes.
  • Prepare standard and customized reports and accountability submissions for government ministries, consortia, ranking agencies and Statistics Canada.
  • Use external data from sources such as Statistics Canada with institutional data to address research questions.
